Are your programs the same as other art programs?

The fee of the art classes includes quality and often unique materials. There are rare exceptions for students to provide personal art supplies or embellishments that may enhance a particular class. Students will experience using and learning about tools and materials of other cultures that are used today by professional artists and crafts people from our past.

Art on the Brain's outstanding art programs are ideal for the homeschooling community and complements the Alberta Education Programs of Study.

Art programs are designed appropriately for each age level. Primary and junior high students can expect to receive the same quality of art education as our older secondary students.

Do you offer art classes for children and adults?

Yes. Art on the Brain Ltd. currently offers art programs for ages 5 to 17 years old in three separate art programs, ages 7-9, 10-12, and 13-17. We occasionally have programs for ages 4 to 6 years old. Please view our website for the current art calendar.

Art Sessions usually run every four weeks and are limited to 12 students in each class. Our Workshops for youths are usually 4 hours.

We also offer Art Workshops for adults.

Can my child register in programs that are not of his or her age group?

Although the Art Program Calendars may be concise, each class offers an unlimited wealth of knowledge that seeks to go beyond art education. Classes are designed with careful consideration of the art projects and ages of the students. The art projects, tools, and medium that will be used should feel comfortable and not intimidating. Choose your art programs carefully and age appropriate for yourself and your child. We want all art experiences to be beautiful!

How do I register for classes? Where do I mail my registration form?

Registering by phone is encouraged to confirm the scheduled times of the particular class and guarantee your registration. A Registration Form must be submitted for each registered class. Fill out a registration form from our web site and remit it with your payment by the registration deadline.

The STUDENT REGISTRATION FORM is used for an individual student registering for any of our classes/workshops. (The Form is available on each Art Program Class Schedule page) A single registration form cannot be shared with siblings or friends registering in the same class.

The GROUP REGISTRATION FORM is used for private groups, organizations, clubs, or designer programs. A Private Group Registration Form must be submitted for each individual student (from the private group) registering in a class, and all forms given to their Program Coordinator for registration.
